Different regulations may apply to the use of individual services on our site, which will be explained separately in this case below. Your personal data (for example, name, address, e-mail, telephone number, etc.) will only be processed by us in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law. Data is personal when it can be clearly assigned to a specific natural person. The legal basis of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG). The following regulations inform you in this respect about the type, scope and purpose of the collection, use and processing of personal data by the provider
We point out that the internet-based data transmission has security gaps, a complete protection against access by third parties is thus impossible. The app needs access to your datastore and photos to work properly because the offline maps are stored as "photos" and must be loaded by the app. There will never be any transfer of your personal images or data to the NavShip servers.
The input of your personal data (name, e-mail address) will be forwarded to email@example.com for ticket preparation and processing and in no case will be passed on to third parties. If you have any questions, your contact details will be saved and can be deleted on request. Please send an email with the explanation without giving reasons to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The apps and website use Google Analytics. More information can be found on this page below.
If you have registered in the Android app with a free Boats Forum account, your username and password will be saved in our database. Passwords are encrypted according to the latest technological knowledge and can not be decrypted by normal computers even in the foreseeable future. Nevertheless, it is advisable to change the password when becoming aware of such a case. With this access, no digital products can be purchased in the app - so you will not incur any damage.
In-app purchases are billed through Google Play, Apple Inc. or Itunes. Your billing information is visible to us, but not other private information such as credit card numbers, addresses or names. This data is stored by Google or Apple.
We do not store any location data, but we do send it to Google, which uses the Maps service to evaluate your data and save it profile-specifically.
Using the error transfer protocol will transmit your email and a selected map location. After the error has been processed, this data will be irrevocably deleted and thus not stored permanently. As a rule, error messages are on hold for 14 days and are then entered in the new update of the app.
If you use the online contact form on this page, we will send you a confirmation email and contact you at the email address you provided. Your data will only be used to answer the support request and will not be shared. The email correspondence is stored for 3 months in order to be able to react to any queries.
